T. J. Newman’s Falling is a masterful thriller
Falling by T.J. Newman
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Falling by T. J. Newman was a genuine page-turner, in every sense of the word. From the very first sentence to the last, I was thoroughly absorbed in this debut novel. Speaking of which, it doesn’t seem possible that such a well-written, masterfully crafted thriller could be her first. But it was. And WOW!
I’m not a fan of reiterating the plot, as so many people give away too much, so let me just say that if you enjoy stories with well-constructed characters (with heart), situations that are real (and completely believable), and a story subject matter that is very “today” (with a threat that is palpable)….well, you’re in for one helluva ride; uh, I mean, flight.
It’s funny, I finished this book over a week ago, and I’ve missed the characters so much since then. That’s the sign of a memorable read.
Trust me, you’ll be reading a LOT of T.J. Newman in the years to come. Bravo!
