New York Times Bestselling Author, Suzy Spencer
On today’s blog post and accompanying podcast, Naked Monday, my very special guest is Suzy Spencer.
Suzy is the author of four true crime books – Wasted, a New York Times bestseller; Wages of Sin, which was featured Investigation Discovery’s Deadly Sins and Scorned; Breaking Point, the story of Houston mother Andrea Yates; and The Fortune Hunter, which was called “riveting” and “blockbuster” by Globe magazine. Her latest book, an intriguing departure of having written true crime for more than a decade, is Secret Sex Lives: A Year on the Fringes of American Sexuality. It’s her first memoir, and as you’ll hear, it has received the attention of many, including a feature on Katie Couric’s talk show, Katie.
Having appeared on Good Morning America, ABC World News, Primetime, Dateline NBC, Fox News, CNN, MSNBC, Court TV, Investigation Discovery, and Reelz; as well as on Oxygen and the E! Channel—I’m THRILLED to have her appear on both my blog and my podcast, Naked Monday.

Thank you, Mary. I’m so glad you enjoyed the show. Suzy IS an amazing and engaging person. I’ve found myself going back to read her older work. As for my voice; yes, I’ve read my books “on tape” although it’s more of a digital world these days.
